How it works
Three steps. Most operators are live within a week of applying.
Tell us who you are and what you run. We check that you're a registered business in Sweden, Norway or Finland with the right insurance, and we'll call you — we're in Kiruna too.
Stripe verifies you
You open a free Stripe account (or connect the one you have). Stripe does the identity and bank checks, and every payment lands in your balance. We never hold your money.
List your activities
Send us your tours, prices, photos and availability — or we read them from your booking system. You approve the listing, we switch it on.
What we ask of operators
One shared standard, so a guest can trust any listing on the site the same way they trust ours.
24-hour free cancellation
Every operator signs the same policy: a guest can cancel free up to 24 hours before the start. Inside 24 hours it's your call. One rule, printed on every booking.
Weather policy
If you cancel for weather or safety — cold, storm, thin ice — the guest gets a full refund and we charge no commission on it. You decide what's safe; nobody pays for being sensible.
Insurance
Valid liability insurance for the activity you sell, and the permits it needs — snowmobile routes, dog-team registration, Sámi-culture partnerships. We'll ask for the certificate.
Photos
Your own photos, landscape, at least 1500 px wide, of the actual tour. No stock, no other operators' dogs. We'll shoot a few for you if you're short.
How listings are ordered
Listings are ranked by availability on the date searched, guest rating, cancellation rate (yours, not the guest's) and relevance to the filter chosen. Our own tours are ranked by the same rules. No operator can pay for placement, and commission is the same for everyone, so it never affects position. We publish this because the EU Platform-to-Business Regulation asks us to — and because it's how we'd want to be treated.
Questions operators ask
Who is the seller — you or me?
You are. The guest buys from your company; the payment is a charge on your Stripe account and the receipt carries your name. We're the marketplace that brought the guest, and we take 10% of the ticket as an application fee at the moment of payment. Snowdog never holds your money.
When am I paid?
On Stripe's standard schedule for your country — for a Swedish account that's a rolling payout a few days after each charge, straight to your bank. You control the payout timing in your own Stripe dashboard. No 30-day batches, no invoicing us.
Is there VAT on the commission?
The 10% is a fee from Snowdog Arctic Adventures AB (Sweden) to your business. For a Swedish company it's subject to 25% Swedish VAT, which you reclaim as input VAT. For a Norwegian or Finnish company it's reverse-charged. Stripe records the fee per booking; we send a monthly summary invoice so your accountant has one document.
Can I keep my Bokun, Rezdy or FareHarbor?
Yes. Keep whatever runs your calendar. In the first phase we take bookings through this site and send them to you by email and API; you enter them in your system like any agent booking. We're building direct availability sync with Bokun, Rezdy, FareHarbor and Checkfront — tell us which one you use in the form and you'll be in that pilot.
What about refunds and no-shows?
Refunds are made from your Stripe account, and when you refund a guest in full we refund our fee in full. Weather cancellations are always commission-free. A no-show inside your 24-hour window is a paid booking — that's the point of the shared policy.
Why is Snowdog doing this?
Because we pay the same 25% to the same OTAs you do, and we'd rather Kiruna kept that money. We run the site, we list our own tours on it under the same rules, and we make it work by volume, not by squeezing operators.
Application received
Thanks, . We'll read it and be in touch within two working days.
Next: verify with Stripe. Stripe checks your company and bank details so payments can go straight to you. It takes about 10 minutes; you can pause and come back.
Prefer to do it later? We'll email you the link. Your application id is .
